SOURCE

Coffee was introduced to Vietnam by the French in 1857 and by the early 20th century, the first Typica seeds were planted near the emerging city of Da Lat. Because this variety was both low yielding and highly susceptible to coffee diseases, it was gradually replaced by the higher yielding Catimor variety. Today, in Vietnam, Arabica Typica can only be found in a few isolated spots around Da Lat. Da Sar is one of the ethnic minority villages. Saigondan's Harmony is harvested at the right time and processed precisely, this coffee has a very delicate floral, citrus aroma. Located on the slopes of Lang Biang Mountain, about 20km from Da Lat city, the people of Da Sar live mainly on growing Arabica coffee, including the specialty Arabica Typica. This ethnic minority village has become a favorite spot for photographers. They often visit here at dawn to capture the moment when the valley is covered in beautiful mist. At around 5 am, when the sun begins to rise, visitors have the opportunity to admire the impressive scene with thick fog like a white cotton coat. When the first rays of sunlight shine down on the valley, villagers and visitors gather to enjoy the fresh morning air and admire the view of coffee plantations stretching to the horizon.
